Opus Teach Secures Place on Government’s GCA Framework

Opus Teach has officially been awarded a place on the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) RM6376 Framework for Supply Teachers, positioning the organisation as a fully compliant staffing partner for schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs) ahead of upcoming regulatory changes.

From September 2026, it will become mandatory for schools and MATs to use GCA-approved supply agencies when sourcing temporary school staff. The framework has been designed to standardise procurement processes, enhance safeguarding standards, and ensure greater transparency across the education supply sector.

By securing a place on Lot 1 of the RM6376 Framework, Opus Teach is now authorised to provide supply teaching staff through a compliant and trusted route, giving clients confidence as they prepare for the transition.

Opus Teach’s accreditation delivers a number of key benefits to schools and MATs, including:

  • Guaranteed compliance with the new GCA requirements from day one
  • No requirement for further tendering or procurement exercises
  • Robust safeguarding and vetting procedures aligned to national standards
  • Access to a high-quality pool of fully vetted education professionals

With the mandatory rollout fast approaching, schools and trusts are being encouraged to review their current staffing arrangements and begin aligning with approved suppliers. Early preparation will help ensure a smooth transition and avoid disruption once the framework becomes compulsory.

Opus Teach is committed to supporting schools through this change, continuing to offer a transparent, compliant, and reliable staffing solution. Speak to Opus Teach today and discover how we can support your staffing needs with clarity and confidence.
